Take a pool noodle and cut
it in half. Use your car door as a guide and measure the pool noodle to size.
Cut the noodle to match the length of your door. Use the adhesive of your
choice to attach the noodle to your garage wall, parallel to where your door
would be when the car is parked. Now when you open your car door, it will come
in contact with the noodle, not the wall!
